Cake Pricing

Pretty Sweet specialized in all-natural, custom-designed wedding and special occasion cakes and dessert tables. Providing the highest quality ingredients and dedicated craftsmanship is of the utmost importance to us. .
Note/Special Occasion Cakes: $125 minimum is required for small special occasion cakes with $150 minimum for all hand-sculpted 3D cakes. Custom sketch designs are typically not provided for orders under $400, for most 3d cakes or classic, straight forward designs.
Note/Wedding Cakes: A $600 minimum is required for classic/rustic buttercream wedding cakes and $850 for custom designed wedding cakes in either buttercream or fondant. (Exceptions made for pick up requests). This minimum may increase during peak season. Custom sketch designs are typically not provided for classic, rustic & simplified wedding cakes. We do accommodate out of town/state weddings with a minimum requirement on a case-by-case basis.
Per Serving Price: Our pricing starts at $5.95 per serving for buttercream cakes, $6.95 per serving for fondant cakes and $8.95 per serving for 3D sculpted cakes, increasing in price based on complexity of the design and difficulty of execution. (To inquire about pricing for Non-Customized Sheet/Kitchen Cakes and Dessert Cakes, please complete our online contact form.) Generally, after design, equipment, taxes & delivery (if applicable) our custom occasion cakes and wedding cakes average between $5.95 - $12.00 per serving, with some highly customized & detailed cakes exceeding $12.00 per serving.
About our Servings: All of our dessert recipes (including our gluten-free products) have been developed over the years by Pretty Sweet and are made from-scratch, fresh to order. Each of our cake tiers is made up of 4 tiered layers of cake with 3 layers of our Italian meringue buttercream with the option for additional top quality, all-natural fillings. Our cake serving sizes tend to be larger than traditional wedding serving sizes due to our layering and tier height. This base total estimates your cost-per-serving BEFORE custom design fees, equipment fees /rentals (if applicable) as well as delivery and taxes.
We strongly suggest narrowing your final cake flavors down to 2 options for guests. Any more than two flavors in a cake will make it incredibly hard on your catering company when it comes time to plate, present and serve to attendees. Pretty Sweet reserves the right to charge an extra flavor fee, at our discretion.
Ordering a Custom Cake:
All new orders and inquiries, MUST be placed via our Online Inquiry Form. A minimum of 3 weeks notice is required on ALL custom cakes regardless of size and complexity (with a recommended 5+ months notice on wedding cakes). A submitted inquiry must be received prior to scheduling a tasting or consultation. Availability is not guaranteed.
Tastings & Consultations: (By Appointment Only:)
We require all clients to complete our online contact form prior to scheduling a consultation, to ensure availability and help us better assist you in your planning and design. We do not offer tastings for individual bite size desserts. Note: we do not recommend additional jam, curd, caramel, or ganache fillings for 3D cakes. We offer 2 tasting options below:
For sit-down consultations / $35 (4 Flavor Combinations, 2 cupcakes of each flavor selection)
This tasting fee of $35 allows you to select any 4 cake flavors (14 flavors to choose from) paired with your choice of any 4 buttercream flavors (over 30 flavors to choose from) from our Flavor Menu. Optional: You may also choose up to 4 "Additional Fillings" for $2.00 each. These include any of our jams, curds, caramels & ganaches with seasonal availability for fresh fruits, candied nuts, etc. If making these types of decisions is not for you, then just let us know your favorite dessert flavors as well as any allergies or dietary restrictions, and we will create a custom tasting menu!
You will receive 2 standard size cupcakes per flavor combination (8 total cupcakes with optional "additional fillings" packaged in lidded ramekin containers) with a carrying box to take the extra cakes for your friends and family to sample. There will be a $10 fee for each additional cake flavor selection with a 6 FLAVOR MAXIMUM. This tasting typically serves up to 4 guests. Please let us know if more than 4 will be in attendance so that we can plan accordingly. NOTE: We cannot guarantee availability of our "seasonal/upon request" cake flavors & fillings for tastings.
For easy pick up sample-packs / $20 (4 Flavor Combinations, 1 cupcake of each flavor selection)
This tasting fee of $20 allows you to select any 4 cake flavors (14 flavors to choose from) paired with your choice of any 4 buttercream flavors (over 30 flavors to choose from) from our Flavor Menu.
